Evening Glow
This shoot was inspired by the glow of the evening sun on the white plant photographed. I really wanted to capture this light to create a mysterious atmosphere. I was really excited to experiment with light and shadow while trying to emphasise the embroidery on this dress. I'm not totally satisfied with this shoot and I think that I will attempt it again.

Toast Catalogue Photography
I have been saddened recently by the lack of Toast catalogues to be dropped through my letter box. I have always found great joy in tearing open the cellophane wrapping and flipping through the pages to discover what lies beneath. The photography always whisks me away to foreign lands on marvellous adventures filled with endless possibilities. I have just caught up with the last couple of months worth and as always I am blissfully delighted. The dappled light, summer palettes, stunning styling and intriguing locations have drawn me in once again.
Flowers Bloom by Zhang Jingna
This is such a great shoot. The floral set and the delicate and intricate movements of the model work so well together.

'Un Weekend' Vogue Paris May 2014
In the weeks advancing towards the beautiful but short lived summers of the UK I begin to go a little crazy for shoots like this which capture the warm light of a summer sunset. This shoot in particular tells such a great story and really makes me long to be involved. I like the play of masculine and feminine styling in the shoot and the slightly oversized tailoring gives me a chilled anachronistic vibe.
